Terms of Service | Krutsha AI

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Krutsha AI (the "Platform" or "Service"), operated by SSKART ("Krutsha", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website (krutsha.app), installing our Android application from Google Play, or utilizing our academic doubt resolution tools, you enter into a legally binding agreement governed by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any provision set forth in these Terms, you must immediately discontinue using Krutsha AI. If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and consent to these terms on your behalf.

2. Platform Services & Academic Scope

Krutsha AI is an educational study support companion engineered to assist students in mastering their curriculum through:

4-Step Chapter Hub: Step 1 textbook notes and high-resolution diagrams, Step 2 audio flashcards, Step 3 active recall concept skimcards, and Step 4 video lessons.
AskAI Instant Doubt Resolution: Camera photo snapshot tool for textbook numericals and theoretical problems with step-by-step logic aligned with CBSE marking criteria.
Practice & Exam Simulations: Chapter-specific quizzes, countdown exam modes, and diagnostic AI scorecards.
Parent Transparency: Automated daily WhatsApp activity summaries for parents or guardians.

Curriculum coverage currently encompasses Class 8th to 12th for NCERT and CBSE Board across Science, Commerce, and Humanities. Expansions to ICSE, State Boards, JEE Main, and NEET UG are actively under ongoing development.

3. Student Accounts & Credentials

You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information (student name, email, phone number, and grade).
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials.
Each student account is intended for individual personal use. Sharing account access, credentials, or selling access to unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited.
You must inform us immediately at hello@krutsha.app upon discovering any security breach or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Krutsha AI strictly for legitimate educational and study purposes. You expressly agree that you will not:

Upload inappropriate, offensive, sexually explicit, abusive, or non-educational imagery to the AskAI doubt solver.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, extract source code, or tamper with the platform APIs or proprietary algorithms.
Scrape, crawl, or harvest curriculum content, notes, or quiz questions using automated bots or scripts.
Attempt to bypass or manipulate free daily doubt credits, question rate limits, or subscription entitlements.
Use Krutsha AI during live, proctored school or board examinations in violation of school or examination council honor codes.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform software, interface designs, graphic illustrations, original chapter notes, curated flashcards, diagrams, branding elements, and logos are the proprietary property of Krutsha AI (SSKART) and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

Textbook references, NCERT excerpts, and board curriculum guidelines are cited strictly for educational reference and academic explanation under fair dealing doctrines. All rights in registered board marks belong to their respective authorities.

6. Subscriptions, In-App Billing & Refunds

Krutsha AI offers free access to study summaries, sample flashcards, and daily complimentary doubt credits.
Expanded doubt solving quotas, full mock exam assessments, and diagnostic analytics require an active Krutsha Pro subscription.
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are securely processed through Google Play In-App Billing or RBI-authorized payment gateways in India.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled by the user prior to the renewal date.
Refund requests and cancellation terms are governed strictly by our dedicated Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Parent WhatsApp Monitoring Agreement

By enabling the "Link Parent" feature inside the Krutsha app, the student authorizes Krutsha AI to transmit automated daily study logs to the designated parent mobile number via WhatsApp Business APIs.

Transmitted logs are strictly confined to academic indicators: minutes studied, chapters accessed, quiz accuracy percentages, and daily streak counts. Parents or students may revoke this service at any time via Settings or by messaging STOP to our official helpline.

8. Academic Disclaimers

Educational Role: Krutsha AI serves as a supplemental study aid. It does not replace classroom instruction, prescribed school textbooks, or formal academic mentoring.

While our AI doubt engine is continuously refined to adhere to official CBSE guidelines, automated responses are provided on an "as-is" basis. Critical board answers should be verified with prescribed NCERT textbooks.
Krutsha AI does not guarantee specific exam percentages, board rankings, or competitive entrance outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permissible under Indian law, Krutsha AI, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime, technical errors, or reliance on study materials. In all events, our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you to Krutsha AI in the three (3) months preceding the incident.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse question quotas, or upload offensive non-academic content. Users may request account termination and permanent data deletion at any time through app Settings or by contacting hello@krutsha.app.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
