Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Policy Overview

At Krutsha AI (operated by Shree Shyam Kart), we are committed to transparent, student-first educational services. We provide comprehensive free study notes, chapter summaries, and complimentary daily doubt credits so students and parents can thoroughly evaluate the platform before choosing to subscribe to Krutsha Pro.

This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms governing subscription cancellations, trial periods, and refund requests in compliance with applicable Indian consumer protection laws and Google Play developer billing policies.

2. Free Trial & Complimentary Doubt Credits

Krutsha AI provides free trial periods and daily doubt solver credits for new students:

Free daily doubt credits are provided automatically without requiring any credit card or payment authorization.
If you enroll in an optional Krutsha Pro free trial via Google Play, you may cancel at any time during the trial period at zero charge.
To avoid being charged for the next subscription cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the free trial period.

3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your recurring Krutsha Pro subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current paid billing period, and your card or UPI will not be charged again.

Cancelling via Google Play Store (Android App Purchases):

Open the Google Play Store app on your Android smartphone or tablet.
Tap your profile icon at the top right corner.
Select Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
Locate and tap Krutsha AI.
Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.

Important Note: Uninstalling the Krutsha app from your phone does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel the subscription inside the Google Play Store Subscriptions menu.

4. Refund Eligibility Guidelines

Refunds are evaluated based on the billing channel and specific circumstances:

A. Purchases Made via Google Play Store:

Within 48 Hours: You can request a direct refund through Google Play's automated refund system by visiting Google Play Order History.
After 48 Hours: If technical issues prevented you from accessing your paid features (such as persistent server failures or inability to scan doubts), contact hello@krutsha.app with your GPA Order ID. We review technical refund requests within 2 business days.

B. Annual Subscription Special Consideration:

If you purchased an Annual Krutsha Pro Plan and request a cancellation within 7 days of initial purchase without significant utilization of exam prep modules, you may be eligible for a prorated refund less transaction gateway fees.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:

Subscription renewal requests made more than 48 hours after the renewal date where the student has actively solved doubts and accessed study materials.
Failure to cancel a free trial before its scheduled automatic conversion.
Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Acceptable Use Policy (e.g. uploading abusive imagery or attempting platform security breaches).
Voluntary lack of app usage when the service was fully operational and available.

6. Refund Processing Timelines

Once your refund request is approved by our billing desk or Google Play:

UPI / Net Banking (India): 3 to 5 business days.
Credit / Debit Cards: 5 to 7 business days, depending on your card issuer's billing cycle.
Google Play Balance: Typically within 1 business day.

All refunds are credited strictly to the original payment source utilized during the initial transaction.

7. Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions

If you observe a duplicate charge or inadvertent double billing for a single student account, please notify our support team immediately at hello@krutsha.app with copies of both transaction receipts. Duplicate charges are verified and refunded within 24 to 48 hours.
