Plot and Moral Insight
Kezia fears her stern, gigantic father who speaks harshly. After accidentally tearing his important speech papers to stuff a pin-cushion birthday present, she gets punished. However, during a nightmare while mother is in hospital, her father tenderly carries her to his bed, comfortingly holding her close, revealing that beneath his tired, gruff demeanor beats a loving, protective heart.
